 What type of information does Dreamscope Media Group Limited collect?

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other ways (ie contracts, social media, email, etc). In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools such as Google Analytics to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile. We do to track internet activity done away from the Dreamscope website.

When does Dreamscope Media Group Limited collect this information?

When you conduct a transaction on our website, sign up for our mailing list, attend a Dreamscope managed event, follow us on social media, email us or execute a contract with us, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address and relevant details about you such as your previous experience, the services you are or may be interested in, the instrument(s) you play, and the role you currently hold or previously have held with us (ie artist, photographer, session musician, employee, etc). Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only however we may use your email address to keep you informed and updated on Dreamscope’s services and events.

Why does Dreamscope Media Group Limited collect this information?

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:


1.    To provide and operate the Services;
2.    To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;
3.    To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;
4.    To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; 
5.    To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

How does Dreamscope Media Group Limited store, use, share and disclose your site visitors’ personal information?

Our website is hosted using the Wix platform. Wix provides Dreamscope Media Group Limited with the online platform that allows us to advertise and sell our services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix’s data storage, databases and the general Wix applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix and used by Dreamscope Media Group Limited adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our site and its service providers. Dreamscope does not store nor does it ever see or have access to your credit card or payment data.

We use Mailchimp as our marketing platform. By subscribing to out mailing list, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to Mailchimp for processing. Learn more about Mailchimp's privacy practices here.


In addition to this, Dreamscope maintains a database for internal use only that is commonly referred to as a Customer Relationship Manager which was built utilizing the FileMaker Pro Advanced platform and is securely hosted by DataTrium in the United Kingdom. This information is stored behind a firewall and is encrypted. Information contained in this database includes any general contact details (name, address, date of birth, email address, phone number, social media links, etc) provided to us in any of the ways as described above. Our internal CRM does not include any payment details including credit/debit cards, bank account information, and so on. Dreamscope not only never stores this information but for security reasons we are never provided it by our payment processor. This database is strictly for internal use only and is meticulously monitored so that only the relevant employees are able to access or manage the data. As an added level of security, all employees with access to the database are required to change their password frequently and the passwords must be adhere to a high level of complexity.

Dreamscope Media Group Limited treats your personal data in the same manner that our own personal data is treated – with the utmost security – in an effort to safeguard you and our business. We take this very seriously. Before employees are able to access any of our systems, they are required to sign an acknowledgement that they have received a copy of and have read our company policies regarding the collection, management and utilization of all internal data.

Dreamscope Media Group Limited does not sell, share or trade any of the personal data stored in our databases. 

Does Dreamscope Media Group Limited use cookies and/or other tracking electronic tools and if so what for?

Yes. In order to provide you with the best experience possible, we may utilize cookies for security, to identify logged in site members, and to track your interaction with our website (ie Google Analytics). We do not track your internet activity outside of your interaction with the Dreamscope website.
